🚧 Welcome to RidersCalc Beta! We are actively adding motorcycles and refining data. You might spot a few bugs or missing models.

RidersCalc Creator on a cramped Z500

Hi, I’m the creator of RidersCalc. If you want to know why this website exists, just look at the picture above. That’s me, trying (and failing) to fit on my friend’s Kawasaki Z500.

He generously let me sit on it, and while it’s an awesome machine, it was a complete ergonomic nightmare for my height. My legs were so cramped that my knees were practically touching my chest, and the geometry was so tight…

“I physically couldn’t even get my feet under the shifter to change gears. I looked and felt ridiculous. That exact moment of frustration was the spark that started this whole project.”

I realized that when looking for a motorcycle, the standard dealership spec sheets only tell you half the story. They give you the “Seat Height,” but what good is an 800mm seat if the footpegs are mounted so high you can’t ride for more than 20 minutes without your hips cramping? Or conversely, what if the seat is low, but the bike is so wide that a shorter rider still has to tiptoe?

I built RidersCalc because I was tired of guessing. I wanted a tool that didn’t just list numbers, but actually calculated how the bike would feel for my specific body dimensions before I ever walked into a dealership.

The Mission

Empower Riders

Give you the exact, data-driven ergonomic insights you need to make an informed decision before buying your next bike.

📐

Calculate the Triangle

Use complex mathematical models to estimate your exact knee angle, hip angle, and ground reach based on your personal leg inseam.

🔧

Provide Solutions

If a bike isn’t perfect out of the box, we point you toward the best lowering kits, tall seats, and ergonomic modifications to make it yours.

A Passion-Driven Project
RidersCalc is an independent, one-man side project. I’m constantly researching, compiling data, pixel-mapping new models, and adding fresh motorcycles to the database. Every calculation, every piece of advice, and every line of code was built with fellow riders in mind.

How You Can Help (The Dream Bike Fund)

Keeping the servers running, expanding the database, and developing new features takes a lot of late nights and strong coffee. And yes, ironically, while building a tool to help thousands of riders find their perfect motorcycle, I am still saving up for my own that actually fits me—hopefully a Kawasaki Versys 1000!

If RidersCalc has helped you find your dream bike, saved your knees, or kept you from dropping a top-heavy machine at a stoplight, please consider supporting the project.
